Nothing held a press conference during MWC 2025 to unveil their new pair of devices, Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro. They are bold in design and truly unique in the market, crafted in a form factor Noithing fans will instantly recognize and love. It’s a strange mix, we know, but the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro stand out in their own way, and there is nothing else on the market quite like these smartphones.

Hands-on review of Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro

Even though the Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro have distinct looking backsides, they do share more of their fundamental features than you give them credit for.

Both smartphones have the same battery sizes, use identical 6.77 inch AMOLED screens, and are powered by the Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 processor. Their camera setups have also improved, now featuring three cameras instead of two on the Nothing Phone (2a) series.

Camera differences aside, Nothing seems to be striving for as much of a unified experience and feature parity between the Pro and non-Pro models. There is actually a new side button on both phones called the Essential Key. It’s a very nifty concept. Head on over to the software section for a quick overview.

Of course, the signature Glyph interface is alive and well and present on both devices.
